About Waking Up Early

 

Have you ever been one of those people who wake up early in the morning to get things done?  It seems like those people just have everything together and are really on top of things.  It seems so easy for them to get things done, but at the same time you are reverenced by their dedication.

 

Well, you can be one of those people too, and really all that is standing between you and waking up early is your mattress.  It depends on how much effort you want to put into everything and how much you are willing to sacrifice.

 

The first step to learning to wake up early is really envisioning your goal, make sure it is what you really want and secure its importance in your heart.  This will allow you to recall that desire in times when you feel like your mattress is pulling you back in.

 

Next you will want to make a plan.  There are many different things that you can do help you to get up early.  Things like developing a morning habit, moving your alarm clock away from your bed, and setting two alarm clocks are all ways to get you up in the morning.

 

The next step is to change those aspects of your lifestyle that may be preventing you from accomplishing your goal.  Meaning, if you go to bed late, go to be earlier, if you watch TV or surf the internet right before bed, stop it.  Commit yourself to living a life that more fully matches your goal.

 

It is also vitally important that you remember to give yourself time.  To develop a habit, it takes about twenty-one days.  That means three weeks of overcoming your mattress.

 

Three weeks of you persisting and consistently doing what you had planned to do will definitely be difficult, but it will be worth your time if your persist.  There is nothing more satisfying than knowing you were able to overcome yourself and do what it is you told yourself you were going to do.

 

Again, do not get discouraged if things do not always work to your favor, but keep on moving on to the next day, and before you know it you will be up early doing all those things that you wish you could do.  The most important thing to remember is that it all starts with you and your desire.
