Running’s Effect on Reflexology
Reflexology: is a system of massaging specific areas of the foot orsometimes the hand in order to promote healing, relieve stress, etc., in other parts of the body.
The idea is that there are “reflex” areas in the foot that connect to different organs and areas of the body. So by applying pressure to different points on the foot you will stimulate health in multiple areas of your body.
To the left you will see a diagram of different reflex points in the foot. You can also see what organs, tissues, and areas these points correlate with.
The tip of the toes goes to the sinuses, and the heel is associated with the sciatic nerve (the nerve near the hips, commonly causes pain in older individuals.)
So improve your health with a feet message . But heck, we already knew that from bible stories, those old prophets loved feat messages, and this, I am 90 percent sure, is why.
Now with the lifestyles we live walking is not nearly as important or necessary as it was just 100 years ago. Now days we work in offices, we drive cars, and we spend our leisurely time sitting on a couch watching Jersey Shore. (I hope you really aren’t watching Jersey Shore).
Our feet our being neglected. Even if we do workout usually it is in the gym working those glamour muscles, so that we can show off on the boat where we will be sitting or swimming and not ever once really putting pressure on our feet.
Resistance is the key to development. Start running, jogging, walking or whatever, just get up on your feet and start using them. Simply 10 to 30 minutes a day is going to benefit every single aspect of your life. You don’t have to do it barefooted or anything. Just get a little pressure on those toes.
