Treadmill Circuit Workout
In yesterday’s post we discussed 8 Tips to Make Running Easier, and the first tip involved adding strength training exercises to your help improve your running. Today we have a treadmill circuit workout from blogger My Food N’ Fitness Diaries to help you do both in one, add strength to your treadmill workout directly. This will not only help you to burn more calories while adding strengthening moves to your workout, but adding muscle will help increase your afterburn.
If you don’t want to jump up and down off the treadmill, or feel you may have trouble with that, check out Combining Weights on the Treadmill for some ideas of strength training moves that can be done directly on the treadmill. This will help to reduce your risk of falling from getting on and off, yet still be able to add strength moves to your treadmill workout.
