Treadmill or Elliptical
Two of the most popular machines out there. The treadmill and the elliptical. Which one is better. Everyone wants to have a safe, fun, and effective workout but what is the best way to do this? and what is the best machine to use? Well, don’t worry I will tell you.
The fact of the matter is both work great. It just depends on your own personal preference. There are small differences that should take into account. For example the treadmill is going to burn slightly more calories than an elliptical, especially if you utilize the incline feature. On the other hand, ellipticals are quieter. Then some treadmills fold up, making for easy storage; conversely, an elliptical is going to e slightly smaller anyway. Treadmills train the body to perform a function that is actually useful. Ok, there we go. When in life are you going to be forced to elliptical to safety? So that is one point for treadmills.
Elliptical strengthen muscles throughout the whole body, but the treadmill does that too. Elliptical keeps the body in an ergonomically correct position, and strengthens the muscles around the spine. Of course, a treadmill will do this too as long as you do not use bad posture or hang onto the handle bars as you run.
